Budget Review: LG QuadBeat (SE) vs MH1 vs UE200
Thanks for the review. I just got some HSS-F400 (Google Nexus 4 iems), am currently burning them in. (So far, some improvement, and not bad for $20 ear buds.) There are some who seem to feel that there are going to be big specs and quality differences between the F400, and the Quadbeats (F410...- ChromeJob

do u know LG quadbeat?
The Nexus 4 headphones (I just got a set gratis from AndroidCentral.com) is model HSS-F400 ... if these quadbeats are HSS-F420, ... there can't be too much difference. I burned them in over about 9-10 hours using White, White-pure, Pink, Ultra-sweep, and 2-200 HZ sound files. Sound's a bit more...- ChromeJob

What's so bad about Bose?
Hopefully not repeating what I've already said, but some of the "brand factor" is I think that Bose markets their products (particularly their headphones) as "audiophile quality." Problem for some is, to some consumers, their headphones deliver that. Sound appreciation is a subjective thing...- ChromeJob

Fed up with iTunes, can any body offer salvation for my iPod Classic 6th Gen?
Quote: For a simple syncing app, it's probably fine. But for media management, MediaMonkey does all sorts of things that my gf's iTunes never even begins to. Superb tag management, re-organizing tools, global search & replace (with third party plugin), finding lyrics (another plugin; MM is...- ChromeJob

Fake Alert: Sennheiser IE7
Just because you got a fake, doesn't mean it's going to be total trash. It could be generic internals that wouldnt' disappoint if you didn't know what you were getting. I guess it's like an imitation Rolex Submariner. It will work, it will tell time, it has some Chinese movement inside...- ChromeJob

Fake Alert: Sennheiser IE7
Um ... I don't see the new reply I was emailed about ... did deepak87 delete the post? Ah here it is ... must've got caught in a time warp. My answer is simple -- don't think you're getting a deal on some "back of the truck" or "back door" genuine item. If it seems too good to be true, IT...- ChromeJob

So how do you deal with annoyingly long cables?
I've actually been revisiting this lately as my IEMs 3' cord isn't quite long enough to reach the Nano where it sits on my desk, playin' and chargin'. So I use my spare (very slim) 5' extension cord. Rather than have the plug-jack connection hanging down, I keep the IEMs cord coiled up (now in a...- ChromeJob

So how do you deal with annoyingly long cables?
For permanent cables (patch, speaker, etc) I have a bunch of "cable turtles" I bought a few years ago ... work very well to keep cords short and dust-free. For headphones, I use velcro cable ties, or for smaller cords, "purse tie" cable twists ... like disposable twist ties, but resilient...- ChromeJob
