I do not like ECC32 on Teton, I vastly prefer Sylvania 6F8G or 6sn7 Sylvania metal base. They are more engaging than ECC32 mullard, and also faster and more dynamic.

I think my Rag is wired. I used my Alpha Prime on my Rag, I use high gain, with my normal listening volume, it pushes the volume knob to 1 o'clock. But Alpha Prime is only 90db/mw, and it is over 12 o'clock on high gain for HD800. Can anybody share some info here on the position of the volume...

what is the position of the volume know when you guys are using HE6? I used my Alpha Prime which is 90db sensitivity. But my normal listening level put the knob on almost 2 o'clock position.

It is not the impedance of the headphone, it is the sensitivity that matters more. You can have low impedance headphone with very low sensitivity.
