I'm on firmware version 2.5.1.  The popping sound issue is still there when using the DX90 as a Linux DAC.   Will this issue be fixed before x'mas 2016?  I've been waiting for a functional DAC from my DX90 since I purchased it back in 2014...but this is becoming a false marketing promise more...

I wonder if they'll ever release the source code of the driver and firmware.  The lag is seriously bugging me, and there ought to be a way to optimize its performance to minimize the lag...  I mean, how else does other high resolution USB DAC work?  Unless there's a fundamental design flaw /...

Hey Gilsont,   I just saw your sig.  I, too, have the K550 and the DT1350. Personally, I prefer the sound and comfort of the K550 over the UE6000 (I'm comparing because the MSRP are very close between the two of them).  How about you?

I have the same problem with mine as well.  Right side (cable side) is louder (not by much, but noticeable)...or the left side just isn't able to seal properly.   At $60 bucks, I can't really complain much.  However, I still prefer the sound from my other cans.
