Mouse -Fi
I have a cheap second-hand MS original Sidewinder. Great for my lazy pinky.. MS has big and generally sturdy mice, but durability is almost is not top-notch. Middle button starts to be unresponsive. Doesn't care as I am using it more for internet browsing. xp- cce121

Noobie here! Which pair of headphones can you recommend for a Hip-Hop listener?
For a start,m50 is a all rounder. Good bass and decent clarity. Isolation is decent as well. If you could care less about bass, look into shure srh840 if it fits your head and ears. Similar to m50 but with less bass but(supposely) better mid and high(if you can appreciate). sennheiser hd280 is...- cce121

Am I asking too much for a pair of headphones?
You can try to look into some superlux headphones. They are at most around $60 each but have gain some reputation among audiophile. hd651,hd661,hd660 are the more bassy few. They have a few open or semi-open ones that are quite talked about here. Happy hunting!- cce121

AKG K550 - NEW!!
Regarding comfortability, any owner with large ears is not satisfied with k550? Not to say angled-driver headphone always eliminate this problem. The driver is not angled so there might be some painful rubbing actions going on I guess.- cce121

What is better for the money: Amp or Amp/DAC combo?
I think that's probably what people refer as 'clipping'. If it is,when you lower the volume to certain extent,it will disappear. If so,a proper dac+amp will eliminate most clips, especially if the amp is capable. Or you can (try) lower the headphone out volume to just before it clips and use an...- cce121

I have a pair too, but the bass is too much and boomy for me. Isolation is okay only. Decent clarity and quite a fun sound IMO though. se215 make more sense i think, better isolation and decent bass. Unless it doesn't fit you or you want a emphasized highs.- cce121

Westone 3 Review - Still one of the very best IEMs!
Do W3 scale up a lot with good amp? Or iphone power is enough to drive them to ear-splitting level?- cce121

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
second for d7000. and maybe you should have a listen on hd650 from an amp, cause their mid and highs are better 598. Just get a okay amp like e11 or amp/dac like e10 will be enough for 650.- cce121

What is better for the money: Amp or Amp/DAC combo?
Quote: Haha..looks like i didn't follow close enough. I ranked DAC so because it's for my laptop listening. For you,you don't mind to just use your ipod even you are at home,so spending on DAC is not going to help. So yea,a good amp is certainly going to help more for DAP. I...- cce121
