NEW Fostex TR-70, TR-80 & TR-90
They're okay HF. Obviously, not my favorite, however they are good with an older rock music, like Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull etc. So, I keep them in my collection for now- cakebreaker

The Lambert "Play It By Ear" Headphone Amplifier - (DG Review) + Impressions Thread
This seem to be normal. I'm used to turn this on before I plug my headphones... A bit inconvenient, I guess, however I constantly switch my headphones for different type of music, so in my case that's not too much to do ;)- cakebreaker

NEW Fostex TR-70, TR-80 & TR-90
Well, I have x5 1st gen and it can drive TR-90/250 with no problems. Although, I usually use my x5 with Cayin C5 amp, which is even better ;) Unfortunately, I've never heard TR-80 or Ultrasone.- cakebreaker

NEW Fostex TR-70, TR-80 & TR-90

NEW Fostex TR-70, TR-80 & TR-90
I've decided to add my 2 cents regarding TR-90. I've received these babies a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! Before I explain what I mean I should tell you that my own ears are definitely disagree with some of opinions. I think TR-90s is absolute steal for the money I paid for them. They...- cakebreaker

Inspire IHA-1 tube headphone amp
Well, regardless the unusual gain design, I really enjoy the quality of this amp. It works equally well with my LCD2.2F and HD800s. It is growing on me hourly )) It pairs great with Audio GD HFB-28 DAC for sure. Especially considering that HFB-28 can add some gain to the IHA-1.- cakebreaker
