I'm thinking of upgrading from my M-80's, can anyone tell me if that's worth it?

So they're still making my ears feel pretty hot after about 15 minutes, does anyone have any ideas on how I can alleviate this? 

I'm pretty sure I had the PX100 probably like 6 years ago so I don't remember them that much but I remember them being alright but they were open. I have the M80s and I can almost guarantee you'll feel like it's a big upgrade, not just in sound but the quality of the actual headphones too. 

Get some V-Moda LP2s. You'll love the bass. 

Val, is the immortal life program only applicable to the same headphone? Basically I'd like to know that if in the future I want to replace my M80s with M100s I could get them for 50% off. 

M80s have more than enough bass for me. 

If isolation is really important the M80s are not exactly what you're looking for.

After getting my M80s I can tell I'd prefer the comfort of an over the ear design but $300 is out of my range. Maybe I'll wait a year or so and get a used pair.
