Looking for earbuds to replace Yuin pk3's
I got my Yuin pk3's many years ago at the recommendation of head-fi, however, it's now on it's last legs and I'm currently in the market for a new set of ear buds. I tried searching through the site but honestly was kind of overwhelmed, there's a lot more good ear buds now then even a few...- avian304

Lost Yuin pk3's looking for replacement
Title says it all. I used to own a pair of Yuin pk3's but they have disappeared and I'm looking for a replacement. I'm willing to shell out a little bit more for earphones, are there anything is similar quality for the price? I'm mainly going to be listening to mp3's or music streamed from...- avian304

MX 580 after PK3?
I recently bought a pair of PK3's from a store, and have been really, really impressed with them. However, I did find the earbuds to be a little to mid heavy. Should I move on to the 580's or will the difference be not worth the cost? (I live in Thailand, and thus I buy from a specialty store...- avian304

Need help with earbuds/IEM
So a little background. I'm currently living in Bangkok, and have recently purchased a Grado SR80i. I am, however, now looking for earbuds/IEMs for whenver I'm on the road. Due to me living in Thailand, my choices are somewhat limited (and expensive, think all audiophile headphones cost...- avian304

Clicking sounds on AD-700
Oh wow! Thanks you guys. I tried pressing around the headphones and blew compressed air around it and the fluttering is gone! Well, I mean it got much much worse at first. But after a second gust it cleared out. Thanks! I never knew that could've happened.- avian304

Clicking sounds on AD-700
Took off bass boost. It's helped, but it simply means that the clicking sounds come at a louder volume. Maybe it's not so much as clicking as it is fluttering. It's hard to explain. EDIT: Happens with other headphones, but usually a result of high bass. But for my 700's its only the left side...- avian304

Clicking sounds on AD-700
I just recently noticed this, but during songs with a heavy bass, the left headphones will make a slight clicking noise with every beat. It doesn't even have to be that loud and the clicking will still be noticeable. I'm currently using a sound card to boost the bass a little, since it's a...- avian304

AD-700 volume limit
So accidental "noise explosions" In which I quickly reduce the volume should be fine right? Like, I wont tear anything? (There was one time on an old pair of headphones, philips OE, about 6 years old, I accidentally plugged them into my mp3 player while it was on high without realizing. The...- avian304

AD-700 volume limit
I just bought a pair or AD700's. I was wondering something, how loud can these go without it damaging itself? I'm awfully worried that I might turn it too loud and destroy the headphones or something. Or am I just being silly?- avian304

Choosing between headphones.
Ok, so I read the newbie guide and I think I should provide more information. I'm buying it mainly for gaming and movie watching as for music listening I usually use my Bose companions. I'm really into the whole 5.1 surround for headphones as when i listened to a movie in 5.1 it sounded...- avian304

The AD700's don't have a built in mic though, plus its a little bass light and I'm sort of a bass head. Are the AD700's THAT awesome? My old headphones were a pair of 9 year old sonys that were super comfortable.- avian304
