Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

Maxwell uses USB 2.0. The nest and most consistent connection you'll get from a USB port is using the usb C to USB A adapter and connecting Maxwell to a standard USB 2.0 port/cable. Ensure you try all your ports, as with any computer, some ports may less noisy, more stable than others.

    Audeze Mobius review / impressions

The 3d button enables an HTRF virtualized surround processing. From a 7.1 source, it will mix that into something that will sound like a surround set of speakers in a room. Could someone held me identify which version of the Audeze LCD-2 this is?

Judging by the connectors also being wood, that is a very early gen LCD-2. If you do not have the box, the certificate of authenticity, the inner side of the headband on the blocks, you'll have to peel off the pads and provide us with the serial numbers on each driver. Audeze MM-100

Make sure the cable is fully seated into the cup, and test both sides to see if it happens on the other end. Also, do not use aftermarket dual sided cables, as the MM-100 is not wired for traditional dual entry 3.5mm cables. Unless the cable pin out is specifically made for MM-100 or other...

Using Game or Chat doesn't matter. They're just two separate connections we labelled for distinction, so you can use one for main audio, and the other for communications/or secondary audio, like programs that are able adjust which audio device is being used for that specific program, like Skype...

We recommend not having the dongle and BT connections paired to the same source as that can cause conflicts. Use BT for secondary external devices (i.e. phones/tablets), and the dongle/usb wired for main devices.

Make sure you're fully up to date on firmware version 56 for both headset and dongle. It may also take up to 10-15 seconds to switch over, so allow it time.
