    Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion

Yeah i feel the same. The Hifiman He400i has what i call a BigRoom or Stadium sound compared to rhe Sennheiser. Not to say you get reverb lol. No. Tight. Yes linear. And more nuetral, though I eq a bit to get a good slam. Pleather/Leather pads are important for those dynamics and much more...

    Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion

I never found the 400i veiled. I can say though that the LCD had a more closer, nearer sound in comparison to the little distant, much more wider sound of the hifiman. Maybe that's veiled... according to them lol. My pick for price and other reasons was still the Hifiman, and I love them for...

No. Don't get em before trying. Mark my words.

BTW guys... I just sold off my hd8dj. Was very fatiguing. And there were problems with it. I can't explain it. But the sound and comfort were both huge problems. I'm instead using my ATHM50x or even more so, the JVC HA SZ1000 which for much lower price is stunningly good sounding to me, though...

I guess the soundmagic would still be better than all of these. May as well pass. Btw I do have the hi2050 and like em a lot.

Hey dont take it personally. Bottomline is, I have both the hd8 and m50 and I still like the m50 more, for the sound. Plus it's still cheaper. Its an all round winner. The praise is for real. But hey, that's just me. Guess it really is everyone is for himself. Another very subjective discussion.

Well I don't know about the HD6 or the HD7. I assumed that the hd8 may just be similar and better. If it is not too colored just like the HD6 or HD7, then I stick to my opinion. Though then you'd say that the 6 and 7 are better than 8. If they're no better than 6 or 7 then well... m50x is the...

I'd actually just go ahead and recommend to you the audio technica m50x right here. I have both the ath AND the hd8 dj and I much prefer the cheaper and better sounding ath. You just can't go wrong with that. I had much high hopes from this but well. Isolation is pretty damn good but overall...

Oh im so glad you asked. Comfortable you ask. Ah man. Hardly. The clamping force is so bad... so bad... they're revengeful. They don't sound so bad. But I don't know why lately I've actually been enjoYing my athm50x more than these senns. They're well made and the isolation is the best like...

What the... no. No. I use the HD8. Although I'm always careful with my stuff. I have weaker plastic headphones that I've had for years with just some wear. But I can't believe how you would have compromised this lot. These HDs are quite solid and I've been using my HD8 quite casually. Loading...

Oh I thought I was alone in this... my left earcup does the same though it's when I one the cup vertically... on the axis that the fork allows it. Anyway, I did open the cup only to find a cable that's moving from the headband to the driver module. I think that gets locked and probably rubs...

No the point is that the adaptor will be used at the headphone end. That way you can use any choice of a 3.5mm cable of your own to connect it to the headphones and your source.

Yeah man. Much needed stuff. Well I guess our best bet is still third party. I ain't gonna wait no longer. I actually have ordered one off eBay. Trouble is its been almost a month and I'm in the Emirates. Let's see. I'll through in some feedback when it gets here. It's supposed to be OFC but I'm...
