Benchmark ADC1?
Has anyone used the Benchmark ADC1, and have any general impressions they can share? I'm considering one for transferring vinyl to digital, in 24/96 or 24/192 resolution. I've read a lot on their DAC's, but little on the ADC. Thx!- angeloz

Hifiman HM-801 help
I really wish there was a HiFi portable alternative from a more reliable company. The 602 sounds amazing! But if anything goes wrong, it's going to cost you. And getting questions answered is a joke. I've looked into the Colorfly Pocket HiFi but I worry about the same problem.- angeloz

Hifiman HM-801 help
Yeah, I'm sure. I went and bought a couple of different SD cards to test. And Head-direct thought I was doing something wrong, but then they confirmed the SD card readers were dead. I ended up just going with a 602. But that was after about $100 worth of shipping fees!- angeloz

Hifiman HM-801 help
I purchased 2 different 801's from Head-Direct, and both arrived with dead SD card readers. It took me forever to get refunded, and then I got charged for shipping on both (I had to pay return shipping, plus they deducted $30 from each refund for their shipping costs. They definitely need...- angeloz

Case for HiFiMan
Has anyone found a good case for the HM-602 or 801? Can't find anything with a belt clip. Although the 801 may be too heavy for a belt clip...- angeloz

HiFiMAN 602: Talk about your initial impressions and specs
I've had the same problem with the SD card. I found that using a specific version of the Sandisk Ultra Class 4 works fine every time. I can only ID it by the label though, there's no model # that I can find which is different.- angeloz

HM-602 and 24bit Music
I've searched around on Head-fi, but haven't seen much on how the HM-602 handles 24bit music. It apparently plays 96khz natively, but downsamples 24bit word length to 16bit. Does anyone know if it's using a dither algorythm, or does it truncate? Thx!- angeloz
