I've heard good things about the vsonic GR07's.  Right now I have fischer DBA-02 and I think they're better than my AKG full size headphones. Both those are below $200. Also check out the Etymotic ER4 series if you want an analytical earphone

+1 for ibasso. 

You can make pretty much any earphone comfortable with the right tips.  I really enjoy the sound quality of the comply p series tips.  They isolate well and can be worn for hours.  I'll bet the Vsonics would be really comfortable with and sound great the comply tips.

Go with Koss Portapros.  They are genuinely one of the best headphones under $100.

Monster turbines have a decent amount of bass.  However, I would reconsider your objectives when buying an expensive set of earphones. If you don't care as much about sound quality, you can buy a bassy set of  klipsch s4's or X10s for fairly cheap.  If you are like most of the 96kbps/low...

I've done a lot of research on this recently and the gr07 appears more tuned to rock. I've never done any comparison testing though

So I'm looking for some impressions from Ibasso users that have either the D12 or D6 with a topkit.  How different did the amp sound?  Does it get warmer with the topkit?  Any info you could give me would be great!
