    Elysian Annihilator 2023

    It is certainly a very exciting IEM to listen to! I’ve still yet to hear the Subtonic Storm, but these certainly are the most resolving IEMs on the top end I’ve heard, without a bit of graininess or sharpness. I really am enjoying their timbre overall.

    Definitely a subjective hobby. I don’t hear average BA bass or average bass with the Anni. It more textured and tactile than many IEMs I’ve heard. It’s not the be-all-end-all, but to me, it’s still quite good.

    To my ears, the Anni 23 is less peaky and sharp sounding than the Volur or my A12t, or any other 64A IEM with the Tia driver for treble.

    @OhmsClaw thank you for reading the review! I love this community and the sharing of new music discoveries. Glad I could contribute back. Yeah, Geoff’s cover is bass intensive and on some IEMs, it is jaw dropping at the low frequency pressure you get from it!

    @RONJA MESCO its true, the external box is another beautiful box in the same style! That is tucked underneath the equipment rack, hidden, unfortunately, so it was not able to be photographed easily.

    Lol! Fair enough. okay back to topic-ish… been listening to the Annihilator 23 a crap ton. Enjoying the IEM immensely. Still waiting to be able to use the Fusion 1 cable I got. Stupidly didn’t think about the fact that the Anni use Pentaconn connectors. So waiting on my order for...

    Off topic: Stupid-grinning because the first thing I see when I came to the home page was my review of the WA23! Off-off-topic… is there actually such thing as off-topic in the WC thread??

    @Leto Dal I’m guessing that it’s due to the single-ended design of this amp, versus the Envy and WA33 being fully balanced, maybe?
