USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

The files are stored in the SD card, downloaded from tidal via Tidal GUI. No issues with the stock Hiby player though, only with UAPP

Did you reach Hiby regarding this? I'm using a SanDisk V30 A2 card and have no issue with local offline contents. I'm not using Tidal to play offline though because it only sort by albums. My local contents copied to the Hiby are downloaded from Tidal by Tidal downloader gui

I have the leather case and have no problems changing volume. The silicon case has the side buttons covered up and I find it quite annoying.

    ThieAudio Monarch MKII Experience

Come back to the iem scene after years of being spoiled by my stax setup. Quite satisfied with the Monarch mkii with spinfit cp100+ tips. They are very versatile and work well with all of my most listened genres (prog and extreme metal, classical, vocal jazz)

No issue for me. Was able to download from Tidal normally. Although I've decided to use Tidal GUI to download the song from Tidal them store normally and use the HIby player as Tidal's offline library management is meh.

Was in the same position and went with the Hiby. Had the chance to try out both of them and have some comment. While I prefer the form factor of the Shanling (smaller, feeling denser to hold) and it has better battery, the overall software experience is better on the Hiby. And as others pointed...

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Hi, I'm trying to use UAPP with the Hiby R6 iii but there is lot of stuttering playing mqa/file above 96khz. I've tried all the settings, increased buffer to 600ms but the issue still persist. Any advices?

Updated: Issue seems to persist, only with local mqa 24/96 tracks or above though. Micro stutters. So guess that I have to stick with the Hiby stock app for now =(

Thanks for the help. Tried your settings, seems like the hires driver flags solved it. Will observe more. Thank you!

Hi I've bought and used the unit for a few days. Quite satisfied except one thing, I cannot use UAPP. Playback always seems to stutter, or in some case no sound at all playing local files. Tried increasing buffer and others settings. Can someone using this dap with uapp share their settings...

    The Stax Thread III

so it is safe to say that mine is the mk2.9/sz3 then. Does it benefit much from the bass port mod? If it could improve on the mid bass hump it will be perfect.

Does it benefit from the blu tack mod? The headphone sounds better than other Mk2/007A I've previously listened to, may be due to the version differences. The mid bass is still kinda too much liking however.

    The Stax Thread III

Just a little push on the cup while plugged in and the amp is on, relatively same as the previous lambdas I owned. I didn't know that it was a MK2.9. How is that version differ from the mk2.5?

Additional information: it was purchased new in Japan, 2016. The previous owner was the only owner and did not mod the headphone in anyway.
