Thanks Les ..... I have since switched to the larger "G" cushions ("Ear Zonks" brand ..... $ 20 from Amazon.com) and am extremely happy with them.  Much more comfortable for me than either the plain "L" cushions, the "L" cushions with circumferential tape, or the yellow Sennheiser cushions...
