Senn Hd600 what amp do you use?
I've recently upgraded to a QES Labs HPBA-2 LE. I mainly use it with my HD 800 S, which to me it's a perfect match. With the HD 600 I get a very focused and detailed representation of the source, flat and balanced.- 3nity

Headphones + Amp for studio\mix reference use - advice needed.
Late to the party, however I must agree with you: the HD800, imho, are the ones that translate well in critical mixing/mastering sessions. IME they are perfectly driven for this task by the QES Labs HPBA-2 balanced amp. This combo is hyper analytical, retains the last bit of micro detail...- 3nity

Is There an Up-To-Date Balanced Amp List?
If you plan to get the HD-800, I would suggest the Complement balanced cable from Double Helix. Quote: Another vote for the balanced system. As a SS option, I feel to suggest the HPBA-2 from Qes Labs. Extremely fast on transient response, flat, true to the source with the hd800...- 3nity

REVIEW : HPBA-2 By QES-LABS
Quote: Yes, the DT-880 matches fine with it's very regular phase response, as can be seen here. The HPBA-2 is absolutely ruler-flat in frequency and phase resp. They also produce balanced amps for low-ohm cans, maybe worth inquiring.- 3nity

Portable Amp DT880's
Quote: Own the DT880 too. I've used the Mini cubed with satisfaction. I would suggest you to contact a pro builder. Take a look at this product from the HeadGear section. It drives 8-ohm loads and has a USB DAC option.- 3nity
