They have a little oxidization. I asked Zach at ZMF about it and he said:
"The michanikos cables were not litz coated - so when exposed to certain properties and environments the metal can oxidize slightly. It won't affect the sound or use!"

Nonetheless, I think it makes sense to offer them below the typical sales price so I'm dropping it a bit.

It's always had a green cast to it, never thought too much about it but oxygenation makes a lot of sense. Maybe I'll reach out to ZMF and see what they have to say. I'll suspend this listing for now. Thanks.

Got a quick reply back from Zach, he agrees that it is likely oxidization but will not impact the sound. I have two sets of this cable and they sound identical. I'm going to drop the price though just to be fair.

Would you say that the oxidation has stayed the same since you've had it or that its spread somewhat?
