Reluctantly selling my Eikons after getting an AC. These headphones provide phenomenal value for money, they're extremely underrated in terms of resolution and they have some of the best bass on a closed back headphone I've heard! They also have the extra light weight magnesium chassis. With pads, they weigh in at 460g. Coupled with the light weight camphor wood, these headphones are incredibly comfortable and I can easily wear them all day. I'm including both the lambskin and suede Eikon pads, which give you some great tuning options. The suede pads give you a massive soundstage, great air, and vocals to die for (seriously some of the best vocals on a headphone). The lambskin pads give you thumping bass that digs deeper than some planars. These headphones are like no other on the market, they combine dynamic driver timbre and impact with planar bass extension and technicalities.

All pictured accessories are included (hard shell case, ZMF cable, and 2 sets of pads).

Shipping to continental US and paypal fees are included.

Not interested in trades.

I love the pic with the scale! All ZMF listings should have one.

"Reluctantly selling my Eikons after getting an AC"

Sorry, likely a stupid question but, what's an "AC"?

As the owner mentions, this is a phenomenal headphone. It shines with OTL tube amps and SS amps that handle high-impedance headphones well. I adore mine, and if the wizards at ZMF hadn’t designed the (significantly more expensive) Atrium Closed, I’d be perfectly happy with the Eikon until I wear it out. Pro tip: Try it with a high-quality silver/copper fusion cable. Incredible (and if you believe cables don’t matter, don’t @ me).

Hearty GLWS!!! This is a STEAL at the price. Seriously.

What are your thoughts on the AC vs. the Eikon? I'm in love with my Eikons, even moreso than my VO, so it feels like ZMF just does closed back headphones better than open backs from my experience. Was looking at the AO and AC (and eventually Caldera), but wanted to know some more thoughts.

I’d say it has more in common with the Eikon than the AO in the sense that it has thunderous subbass and a tiny bit more treble than AO. Vs the Eikon, it has smoother treble, better resolution, and a more all around agreeable tuning however there are things that sound absolutely incredible on the Eikon that nothing else can match. If I could I would keep both because each has its own character. So I wouldn’t say AC is a straight “upgrade” from Eikon, but it’s the closest to it in the current ZMF lineup in terms of purpose IMO.
