Up for sale is a ZMF Caldera LTD Kingwood. I am the third user, estimated 300hrs. Selling to downsize and also offset upcoming vacation costs. It is an amazing headphone that rivals the vintage AT-L3000, and if I didn't have that, I'd be keeping it for sure.

You can search my thread for my impressions, which have been really glowing for the most part.

The first user was a bit careless and got some really small nicks across the cans--the price was adjusted for this when I bought them by $300. I am furthering that discount even further for the same reason, by another $300.

These come with the flight case, the 1/4th cable (in addition to the stock XLR cable), the wooden authenticity card, and what I think is a soft cloth pouch or cleaning pad (it's sealed, I won't open it). The pads are stock leather, leather slim, and suede.

I highlighted them in the pics the best I can. Also, generally, they still look very good unless analyzing closely, but the nicks are there. Some wear and tear was on the rods as well. The cans are in perfect working order.

Aesthetic issues factored into price heavily. $2700 shipped. Shipping is to the ConUS only, via UPS insured. Shipping is included in the price, 3% PP fees on the buyer.

That's a *ridiculously* good deal for some ridiculously good cans. I owned some Kingwood Calderas for a couple months at launch; it was (especially due to personal situations at the time) hard for me to justify keeping what was then $3600 cans, but at $2700, if I had the cash laying around (read: had I not just bought a Folkvangr...), I'd *seriously* consider breaking my "probably not spending more than X again" soft personal "rule" :) GLWS!

To potential buyers who are put off by what seems to be quite minor scratches: the nicks in the magnesium finish are near-inevitable on this model unless you baby these cans to an almost unreasonable degree IMO, I encourage you to look past them and embrace a mantra that gear is meant to be used and have its own life story, because (again IMO) it's a matter of when, not if. The set I parted with in January likewise had some wear to the magnesium coating from normal sitting them on desks. (these don't look to be the ones I owned, so that makes at least 2/60 which attracted wear in this way)
