Up for sale is a very unique item that any headphone collector or enthusiast would love to own, a pair of Sennheiser HD580 Precision headphones autographed by the legendary Axel Grell. Axel Grell came to Sennheiser in 1991 and the HD580 was his first headphone product that would be released in 1993. After that Grell would go on to create many legendary headphones such as the HD600, HD650, HD700, HD800, HD800S, HD660S, HD58X, and Sennheiser's legendary $59,000 HE-1 flagship headphone.

I brought this pair of HD580 with me to Can Jam New York in 2020 which Axel Grell attended. I saw him at the show and asked him if he would autograph them for me. He got a chuckle out of this and some nostalgia seeing people still cared about his first headphone project. I attached a photo I took of Grell on the panel at the show as well as a photo I took of the headphones right after he signed them.

Condition is pretty good overall with a few minor bits of paint chipping and a little wear on the Sennheiser logo. Pads are still in good shape all around and were replaced about a year ago however they have seen extremely minimal use since then. Headphones will come in a Slappa hard case with an OEM cable.
