Includes Pi2aes, Raspberry Pi 4, Black Case (removed top/sidepanels in pic to show PCB), 16gb SD card, ropieeeXL pre-installed. Ready to plug and play.

I've added the 5V tweak so you just plug a 5v >2.5a PSU into the DC power plug on the bottom to power both the pi2aes and pi.
If you wish to use the normal 24v port you can do so instead.

Shipped next day within UK, can ship to europe as well (DM for pricing).

5v tweak is done by connecting to the 5v/gnd pins on the pi2aes board itself.

Its just done by jumpers. So no soldering etc and 100% reversible. Literally just unplug.

It actually can result in a performance increase. Normally the 24v supply is fed to an onboard meanwell switcher which steps it down to the needed 5v.

Using the 5v tweak bypasses this and means that you can use a high quality power supply direct without the onboard switcher as a bottleneck

Thank you for the info. I was looking into getting a ifi iPower 24 power supply. supposed to have less than 1uv distortion

The issue is that whilst the ifi 24v might, it'll almost certainly have more than that after its gone through onboard meanwell switcher.

Whereas if you use an ifi ipower 5v (that's what I'm using) what you put in is what you get
