Up for sale is my prized Grado Rs1. They are classified as Vintage A Rs1 with pink drivers. I've had them for over 7 years I think. I never thought I would sell them so I modded them from stock.
Mods done:
1. Hd800 detachable cable mod. The cable fits a tiny bit loose when connected to the aftermarket female hd800 jacks on the cans so I added a tiny smidge of super glue on the male connectors so they won't slide out when being worn. Unnoticeable but I need to be transparent about it.
2. Gimbals are newer Grado rounded post gimbals. I cut a slot on the bottom to better accommodate the hd800 style cable.
3. I exchanged the stock leather headband for the legendary jmoney leather headband. It is wider and thicker, best headband for a Grado IMO.
I also need to mention the original wooden Grado box is included but as you can see in the pictures a piece of the bottom foam is missing.
Only cable included is a Cardas 1/8" cable.
The cans are in 100% working condition with no rattling or other shenanigans going on.
Pads included are a new pair of original Grado L-cush worn less than an hour and also a pair of Geekria comfy pads, also worn less than an hour. The Geekria pads somewhat mimic the ttvj flat pads having a more upfront/intimate bassy sound and reduces the highs. These two pad choices compliment each other nicely for different sound signatures.
I can also throw in the pair of ttvj pads that are in some of the pictures but be advised that they are already disintegrating so I would only advise for you to use them just to get an idea of what they sound like with ttvj flat pads.
