I purchased this VTA ST120 kit back in 2014. It features a stainless steel version of the classic Dynaco/ Dynakit ST70 chassis. Unlike the original ST70 this amp uses transformers for 6550 or KT88 power tubes. (Essentially a stereo version of the Mk III) KT120 tubes can also be used.

The driver circuit was designed by Roy Mottram of Vacuum Tube Audio (tubes4hifi.com). Speaker outputs are wired for 8 Ohms but can be wired for 4 or 16 ohms as well. Output is 60 watts per channel in ultralinear mode or 35 watts per channel in triode mode. Includes assembly and operation manual.

In order to properly bias and operate this amplifier you will need a voltage meter which is not included.

Modifications from the stock kit include a 3-wire power cord which grounds the chassis and 1N4007 diodes have been added to the rectifier socket for more reliable rectifier performance.

Price is $1200 for the amp.

I can also ship a new set of tubes for an additional $200.
Matched set of new TungSol 6550
JJ GZ34 and 3x ECC82 (12AU7)

Will only ship to continental US via fedex.

PayPal for payment.

If interested please send PM for more details.
