I have this DAC and it's refreshingly a more relaxed treble region than the ESS DACs I tried. Nice wide sound stage too.

No, I had originally paired the D30Pro with an A90D. (I liked the D30's sound better than the D90LE).

Yeah, I really liked the A90D, especially out of the balanced out. Compared to the THX amps, the Topping had a more natural tone and weight in the sub bass while still maintaining that clean sound.
