There is no balanced jack on the A105. The NW-ZX507 is the Android Walkman that has the balanced jack.

I listen to a mix of 16bit and 24bit ALAC files. Through the main Walkman app with airplane mode on, I get 12-15 hours, so with MP3, I would say it would be even more than that. Once you start using WiFi, Bluetooth and other apps besides the main Walkman app, the battery life drops dramatically.
