Hello! Selling my beloved ZMF Auteur LTD Blackwood Headphones today. I have used them rather lightly but I'm not the original owner. I'm selling them because i've upgraded to the VC and rather not keep more headphones than necessary.
This is the most dense wood in ZMF's offerings w/ janka rating of 3670. Blackwood are very expensive and considered endangered so this wood most likely won't be offered again in the near future. This hardwood gives the sound more audible impact and less decay compare to the lighter woods. There are only 40 of these sets made and long sold out. LTD Auteur are not currently available for sale on the website.
These are a customized set by Zach at the request of original owner. Matte black wood finish. Brass grills for contrasting effect. Black Aluminum rods. Kind of a Death Star matte look ^_^
- Comes with pelican case, stock balanced XLR cables, and 2 pads
