Selling my ZMF Vérité Open in silk wood. The condition is excellent with the only real flaw being some light paint chipping at the bottom of the gimbals. This is common with the magnesium hardware, and hard to notice unless you're looking for it. Otherwise, the finish is gorgeous and there are only some very light signs of use. I haven't put too many hours on this pair. I've been around for awhile with the same user name on eBay, Audiogon, USAM and SHF if you'd like to check out my feedback on other sites. Man.... I really miss the one I had with the brass grilles.
I just remember that with the perforatted suede pads, the sound was resolving and engaging with a great kick (maybe a microscopic touch of warm mids), probably the best treble balance I have ever heard. Not piercing but not too bland either.

Please let me get rich with crypto so I can afford to own one again :sob::sob::sob:

Should I buy this because I've been thinking this or an Empy. I usually like something warmer, but still detailed.

At this point I would say the Verite, the Empyreans I felt were just bassy and less detailed overall.

Verites are more engaging and detailed to my ears. More in your face with a nice kick to it.

Try the perforated Suede pads, the vocals are pushed just a bit back slightly but overall the other frequencies are the best I've heard so far.
