[SOLD] for $250 to @Brewpub27006
Short-lived Bee by Nectar. A unique planar that uses a relatively thick heavy diaphragm and loose tensioning so as to improve bass performance. This comes with a drawback of diaphragm crinkle when repositioning the earpads. It is normal and by design. Other manufacturers cannot sell customers on such a compromise but Nectar does not care!
Panned by most (including myself) as being too dark. This is a headphone that needs EQ assist. What you get for your inconvenience is special bass-mids. “Special” in that bass seems to carry a weightiness that’s feels relatively tactile. Low level detail of bass-mids is seemingly greater than HE6se. Combined it feels like images are deeper / more resolved / less grey relative to HE6se. Just requires EQ for highs support. Lokius does an admirable job but not well enough (too imprecise are the tone controls) for me to dethrone 6se [modded] as a good all-rounder planar.
This is the SBAF loaner tour set with serial number: “SBAF”. And [to anyone] $50 voucher redeemable if you loan the headphone to @rhythmdevils whom did not get a chance to hear due to sudden and still ongoing health crisis.
Comes with everything shown including original sets of pads (not shown), and original packaging.
Good condition, non-smoker.
$350 $300 $290 shipped, might have to adjust if shipping to Canada is much more.
Will price drop bump by $10 weekly until sold. See my Nitsch Piety listing for possible package deal.
