I emailed Schiit support awhile back asking if the Valhalla 2 would accept 6CG7’s as input tubes because they seem to be so popular amongst enthusiasts, and they told me they’re not compatible. Did I perhaps get some bad info there?

I've never seen someone use a 6CG7 in the Valhalla 2, but they're compatible with the Vali 2+

I used the 6CG7 in my Valhalla2 without any problems. Others have reported good results in the tune rolling threads.
