Selling my HD598SR's - these are the HD598s with the improved headband, and the all-black-everything finish. Includes **only** a 1/4" cable: I don't really recall these coming with any other cables, and if they did, I sure don't have them anymore. These cans were my daily drivers from 2019 to 2021 (I am the original owner), during which time I mostly drove them off of onboard sound cards, cheap Behringer interfaces, my phone, or whatever else I had laying around. I hadn't really been introduced to the world of DACs and amps yet. This is all to say: they're super easy to drive. That said, I've plugged them into a Schiit Modi3/Magni3 stack and they sound great. I've technically also plugged them into my Mjolnir 3 and Folkvangr out of curiosity... and sure, they s still sound great, but I'm not going to claim they scale especially well to that degree

Pads are brand new replacements from Amazon installed recently, and quite comfortable! The headband is a bit worn from years of use and storage, but still more than plenty serviceable. Can provide more pics upon request.

I'm also selling my HD598cs (the closed-back companion). I'll knock $20 off the pair if you take them both. Shipping is to anywhere in the US, or we can meet in the Seattle metro area for local pickup.
