Hello All,
Well, the day is almost here and my basement is days away from being completed. What does that mean? Well, it's time for me to transition to my beloved 2-channel system for my primary listening vs. headphones. While I will likely always keep a few headphones and amp/dacs, I am no longer needing the scale of what I have.
What can I say about this stack... well, it's been my preferred setup for basically all headphones that I have owned over time. I have owned this exact setup a few times over the years and always keep coming back to it.
This was my favorite pairing with every single Abyss product I have owned over the years, including the OG 1266 that I listed today.
This unit has a few quirks with it...
The Mjolnir powers on with a red led light. I reached out to Schiit to see if there was an issue with it, but their technician explained that someone had to have switched that out from the white LED that it came with, as the LED would never change colors... even if there was a problem with it. I can forward this email over to whomever wants to see it, but I kind of like the red light... looks different and not as blasting to your eyes as the white.
The Gungnir MB LED for the USB connection is out, but the DAC functions perfectly on the USB connection. This is also good, as I really don't like that bright light.
My asking price for the stack is $1000 shipped in CONUS.
