As much as I love the blues, I think someone else would appreciate them more than me. Was originally going to trade, but found a good deal on the regular mk2s, so I'll be selling instead. Comes with 2 cables (3 pin XLR and 1/4" I believe), a box, and a stand which are shown. The 1/4" cable has a slight kink on the left side, which I haven't found to do anything sound wise. The stand was not used by me or the previous user. Pads shown were only used by the original owner (not me). The right cup has 2 distinct scratches that only show up in certain angles. Smoke free, no pets, never had COVID, you know the drill. $1400 with shipping included will be the price and I'm only shipping within the US.

In total, I paid $1550 for the blues to have them shipped overseas from Japan. You can buy the reds (mk2) for under $1,000 used easily and if you don't want detachable cables, you can go as low as the $700s. The reds are cheaper, but I slightly prefer the blues tuning. However, that slight preference isn't worth the extra $500.

Yes! 500 for a slightly less bright headphone is nit worth it, but basically it’s the same headphone. I believe possible more present mid range on the blues and slightly less treble. But either Way these are gorgeous and GLWS as these are some of the more sought after colors (compared to the pearl). GLWS

How is this still available? Insane deal for the sapphire version…it sounds a bit more refined than the red/green

Much more refined! Just coming off the 909 and pearl (same as the blue). 900 offers more bass snd sparkling highs but mids feel lacking (recessed). The pearl and sapphire have the same tuning and sound more like the 909 but subdued bass. 909 is still the most realistic I have heard, with 900 being more fun snd pearl/blue being most neutral (less bass Or less warm?).
