One of a kind design. Rosson Audio Design is the headphone company of Alex Rosson, founder of Audeze in 2008, a much-praised headphone manufacturer among the connoisseur. In 2019 Alex Rosson started Rosson Audio Design with the RAD-0 as the only model so far.
Every Rad-0 has a unique design: this is #75. Each headphone is handmade and the rings around each driver are unique on each one. There is no other headphone with the same, unique and beautiful design as this one.
The headphones are from November 2020 (bought by Headamp) and have only been used for a short time and are therefore in completely new condition and include the original box, cable 3.5-6.3 mm plug, sticker, cardboard outer box and cardboard shipping box, which also bears the number of these specific headset, #75. Also including all original documentation, 10 pages in total.
The headphones are backed by a lifetime warranty on the driver. Alex Rosson had the goal with these headphones, as he points out in a Q&A with The Headphone Show (on Youtube), that they could easily be used for decades. To achieve this, he opted for a thicker diaphragm, so that it can withstand pressure better.
The RAD-0 was part of the Headfonia 2020 Best of Year Awards and is part of their Best Headphones List. Resolve and Chrono from The Headphone Show are both praiseworthy and especially praise the balanced tone of the headphones. Darko Audio describes the Rad-0 as its Product of the Year 2020 and describes it as one of the top 3 headphones available to buy today. A description that I personally found very apt is that the Rad-0 has the detail of the Audeze LCD-X and at the same time the soft sweetness of the LCD-3.
Selling due to wanting to try out different things. Import price of the RAD-0 is close to 2900 euros. Rarely available in Europe and now you, as an enthusiast, have the chance to experience the brilliant sound and unique, beautiful design of these headphones.
