thanks you for your expert opinion
My friend just receive the packet Very speed
It's incredibly kind of you not to have waited for the reception and the collection of the check. Thank you.
We must leave ourselves a good evaluation on headfi forum
Well, I don't know about the 'expert' part. But I listen to a LOT of music, almost exclusively on headphones, so there's some 'experience' there. I will post a positive review after the check arrives. :)
Happy listening!

So you think that all these discussions on this headfi forum and other specialized forums also when the contribution of a balanced output is screwed up. Is it just commercial and fashionable for brands to do a balanced output on their DAP?
I suspected a little. This is also what my friend, an expert in living room HiFi, thinks with whom I made Mogami cables. For him, Hifi cables are above all a scam, a way for brands to make a big profit
And he also told me that as long as they are short distances no audible difference
Placebo effect!
Indeed my mogami cables were as good as a Golden Cross cardas I sold
But personally I have no experience using the output and balanced cables, which is why I was asking your opinion
Thanks a lot
I am only speaking for myself, but... yeah. Where I DO find a difference in cables (balanced or single-ended), is in construction and in flexibility. Some of the priciest cables are the least convenient to use, stiff and/or liable to kink. Every once in a while, you read on a reddit forum or on head-fi something like, "I paid $300 for this cable and the connector is crooked!" or "The cable wrap is already fraying and it's only a month old!" I have experimented with balanced on my headphones (Shure 1540's and HiFiMan Anandas) and hear no difference. I use single-ended, both directly from my DAP and from my desktop amp. I agree with your friend... placebo effect. If you spend a LOT on a cable, you feel like you HAVE to hear a difference, or else you've been taken advantage of.
Happy listening,
Mark
