Very little introduction needed. Still one of the greatest. This set is immaculate, simply pristine, only a few hours of use.
How do they sound? An upgrade from the original K10, I find them more balanced with better sound stage than the Katana, while having bass that is both low and tight like my old Sony IER-Z1R... I actually like them better than the Campfire Solaris. These would make a good complement to a pair of 7Hz Timeless, Audeze or MEST... they have speed and insane resolution like those planars, but also add a richness that makes you feel like you're listening to ALL of the music equally... so then you'd have a "fun" pair and a "serious" pair.
And if you're like me and swear by dynamic drivers, like the Sennheiser IE 600 and IE 900.... all I have to say is that these will surprise you. Noble really got the voicing right with their in-house proprietary balanced drivers (instead of the common Knowles)
For fun, I'd encourage the buyer to experiment with a variety of eartips on these... personally, after trying many different ones, I found that the Xelastic tips really give the extra-solid seal for my particular shape of ear.
Set comes with everything, is superbly maintained, and is an absolute steal, down from its original purchase price of $1,800!
(Life happens... gotta sell some of my babies...sigh)
Price includes tracked shipping. Ships to CONUS or Canada only. Please message for payment method details.
From the Noble Audio website:
Kaiser Encore is the successor to Noble’s previous award-winning flagship IEM, the Kaiser 10 (K10).
The Encore retains the musical essence of the K10 and features a retooled midrange that provides additional clarity and more accurate tonal balance while still integrating seamlessly with the rest of the audio spectrum.
Improvements in midrange response contribute to a larger soundstage and presentation compared to the K10 with more precise imaging and superior spatial representation.
Technical Specification
- 10 Proprietary balanced armature drivers per side.
- Noble Universal form factor and geometry featuring precision machined aluminum faceplates.
- Sensitive enough to use with smartphones as well as portable amps and DAPs.
- Hand-assembled and matched.
- Detachable cable with industry standard two-pin configuration (0.78mm in diameter).
Noble Audio is: Dr. John ‘Wizard’ Moulton (Noble’s president, co-owner, and head of sonic and visual design), Brannan Mason (Noble’s co-owner and overseer of business matters and customer relations), and Kaiser Soze (a highly skilled earphone technician who teams with Dr. Moulton in development of new designs and in whose honour the Kaiser 10 is named) – yes, Kaiser Soze; but not that Kaiser Soze.
