Up for sale is the absolute cream of the crop and best varient of the 5U4G family of rectifiers -the MWT U52 rectifier brown base.
A quick history of the tube:
This rectifier was purchased in the early 2000's at Tube world express. A known and respected dealer of high quality tubes. This tube was opened only to test and I'm including a screenshot of the test ratings.
Take note of the clean pins and the clean glass. This U52 is NOS & NIB. Also take note that the Spanish government placed a customs stamp on the glass that has fallen off. Underneath the stamp is the MWT sticker that is in place and firmly attached.
The tube was imported into Spain in the early 1980's as a bulk order from existing stock from MWT. This is the highest quality U52 you can get. Brown base MWT. These are thought to be better than the black base version. This is 1950's made in England production. The best of the best.
I'm going through my collection and selling my excess as I just have more than I need. Someone will be thrilled to own this U52 and not have to deal with scammers and rip-offs that happened all too often on some internet marketplaces.
