I bought it earlier this year and sent it to John at JS Audio for his Level 2 mods. The brief summary he sent me is as follows:
Level 2: all capacitors, op amps, all transistors, class D regulators, fast rectifiers, valves, cabling, mains filtering.
It cost £1200 and the DAC itself was £500. John sent it back to me at the end of March.
It's a very impressive sounding component, but I took the chance recently to buy an Yggdrasil+ OG. In an ideal world I'd like to keep both DACs, and switch between the two from time to time. However I don't really have the rack space to be able to do that.
There are a couple of marks on the top plate, as shown in the photos.
Price = £845 which includes the PP fee but excludes shipping (probably around £15 within the UK, as this DAC alone weighs 13 kgs).
