A gem of a DAC, works with both Apple and Windows, has been used with J-river Media Centre on a MacbookPro and Audirvana on a HP Z-book laptop, running both WASAPI and ASIO drivers and both PCM and DSD files.
The DAC uses ESS Technology type ES9018S 32Bit D/A chip and XMOS asynchronous USB receiver, i.e. it generates its own clock signal. Connectors and switches are top quality and the electronic is housed in a solid block of aluminium. It supports DSD64, DSD128 and up to 32Bit/384kHz PCM files.
