Closed: Interest Check - Hifiman Code X3

This is an interest check for a Hifiman Code X3. For those unfamiliar, the Code X3 is a modified HE-5. The modifications were done by LFF in 2018. Mine is a X3, because it was modified using a Hifiman HE-5 Re-Issue. It does not have the wooden cups, but the grey cups. It is in near perfect condition. It comes with 2 cables. The spe 1/4" Hifiman Cable (6ft) and a Audiophile Ninja XLR cable (6ft). The connectors are the old Hifiman clip and screw in type. It has 2 sets of pads. A pair of ZMF Ori's Sheepskin and a pair of Brainwavs Sheepskin Angled. I currently have the ZMFs on them and they look and sound great. They do not come with the original case, but I have a nice carry case for them and they will be packaged well as always.

For those unfamiliar with this headphone, it is a true unicorn these days. There are very few out there for sale, and almost none in the shape these are in. Sound Signature is phenomenal. Soundstage is huge. They are gritty, tight, fast and extremely articulate. Instrument placement is spot on. They are fairly inefficient at 87 SPL. Power them right and you are hard pressed to find a better Planar for under $2000. I have just a/b tested them against a Diana V2, Susvara and a LCD-4z. They more than hold their own against TOTL Planars.
