I just received this Holo Audio May DAC yesterday (June 25th) after ordering from Kitsune HiFi on June 13th. I'm posting this on June 26th.
From unboxing to repacking, it's only spent 24 hours out of box. During that time, it's been in-use or burning in for about 18 hours.
The remote has been tested to function as expected (volume up/down and analog output does nothing on the May DAC).
The cables I used and can verify as good are the DC power umbilical cord and the AC power cable. I used my own USB cable.
Everything got repacked exactly as I had received it yesterday.
Asking $4,998 FIRM—I'll pick up PayPal invoice fees and UPS Ground shipping to any UPS valid delivery address in the 48 contiguous US. That's a savings of $230 over ordering from Kitsune HiFi who automatically adds $230 express shipping for drop shipping from Hong Kong.
The included UPS Ground shipping will include insurance and will require adult direct signature for drop-off.

So, why am I selling?
Short version of the story is that I was hoping to save about half the cost of my Chord TT2/M-Scaler stack, but I seem addicted to what my brain interprets as a "life like" presentation of transients and note attack from the Chord stack. I don't think any matter of "burn-in" is going to change the inherent character of the May DAC.
The May DAC in its own right is a superb DAC with some great flexibility with the non-oversampling and 3 additional oversampling modes. The NOS mode has the most unique presentation that it seems most Holo Audio DAC owners love. If I never heard the Chord sound, I would definitely consider the May DAC as TOTL. However, it became clear that I'm the odd one out because I gravitated toward the OS DSD mode…because it's closer to my preferred presentation of attacks and transients.
What everyone says about soundstage breadth and depth is true in what I experienced with the May DAC, but my bias puts tone, timbre, and texture of notes as a priority—which I get from the Chord stack in my setup. However, there is a magic about the soundstage of the May DAC that's just impressive, and a tone that is seductive. It's just I don't perceive it as true as the Chord sound.

PHOTOS
Apologies for the blurry front shot. Took the photos a few hours ago when it was daylight and didn't notice the front shot is blurry until now when getting ready to post. The units are packed up, but if anyone would like clear photos, I'm happy to unpack to take more photos.

* heads-up for the buyer…you need to plug in the DC umbilical cord like this shot before plugging in the AC cable—there's warnings several places in the package, on the cable, in the manual—but it's worth repeating
