Headroom Total BitHead amp/DAC

A classic amp/DAC designed by legendary Tyll Hertsens of the former headphone site Inner Fidelity. A small power pack that, according to the instruction manual, can handle most things: "With the exception of AKG K-1000's and electrostatic headphones, your BitHead has enough power to drive any pair of headphones." I tested it recently with the famously hard to drive Yamaha HP50 planars and BitHead played brilliantly.

There are switches for low or high gain and a cross-feed function for those who like that. USB input connection and analog 3.5mm jack. Two 3.5mm outputs for headphones and a red warning LED when batteries are low or if the amplifier is overloaded (never happened to me). Powered by four AAA batteries or via the USB connection.

Comes with all original accessories - cables, instruction book, velcro mounts for mp3 player and original packaging. The DAC/amplifier is in very good condition and sounds surprisingly good.
