Sad to give up my HE6se v2's, bough only two months ago, new and unopened, from an Audiogon seller.
These sound amazing, but I just wasn't able to get the comfort where I liked it, mostly because my ears are just too big...which is too bad because I now have the Arya on hand and honestly slightly prefer the sound of these. Soundstage is the only advantage the Arya has, and even then, the HE6se is wider, just not as deep or spacious overall.
A few notes about this particular pair, mods and such:
PP fees and shipping included to CONUS. Will come with original He6se box/accessories, double boxed. No trades.

A few notes about this particular pair, mods and such:
- I recently tried installing Hifiman's "hybrid" headband with no success, so one of the screws on the right cup is slightly scratched from the attempt (in the photo). Otherwise they are in perfect cosmetic condition.
- Included and installed are the DCA Angled Ether pads (with Hifiman installation rings), made of lambskin leather - stock pads are also included.
- Honeycomb mod is installed: stock grills were removed and replaced them with the honeycomb ones found on Ebay for $40. Stock grills are also included and very easy to re-install.
- Out of fear of dust getting into the drivers, I placed some acoustically transparent fabric between the retention rings and honeycomb grill. The sound is unaffected, and now I don't feel like I have to keep it in a case or under a Stax bag when not in use.
- With the DCA pads there is some slight driver flex (crinkling sound from the driver when pressure is applied) in the left earcup. There was none with the stock pads. I assume this is because there is more of a seel created with the non-perforated leather pads, but as long as I'm careful taking them off and on, it doesn't happen, as it hasn't in the last month of using them. I also hear this is not uncommon in many planar magnetic headphones like Audeze's.
