Hey folks, I have here the Grimm MU1 2TB SSD For Sale, though perhaps an Interest Check. This device is honestly one of the best purchases I’ve ever made in this hobby. It was, the secret sauce to my entire set up and why I am opting to sell the device for no other reason than to move up to the Grimm MU2 which will simplify my setup immensely. Lots have been said about this device, all I know is that when I received it magic happened. It just has a way of making you enjoy the music more. I am not sure how they are doing this, but combined with the Tambaqui it was the best source set up I have personally heard. MU1 has been a revelatory experience and I want it to go to someone who can relish it.
The price here is relatively low for 2 reasons. Firstly, I am the original owner and got a good deal on mine when I first purchased it, so passing that on to make it more accessible for others.
Secondly some patience and trust is required for this transaction. The device has a loose internal connector (per Grimm’s initial diagnosis) and is now on the way to Grimm in The Netherlands for them to fix it. As such, I am estimating about a month before the device gets back to me and then to the buyer. Rest assured, the device is still under warranty. (3 more years left out of a total of the 5 years extended warranty) and will be properly inspected and fixed by Grimm Audio.
I think the device is in excellent condition, but I marked it conservatively as good due to spotting some minor scuffs. The MU1 was well taken cared of and rarely moved from its initial position.
