I have a new pair of Grado RS1X. Purchase just to demo.
Let it play for 4 hours and demoed few songs.
It's very transparent, resolving, detailed.
But it does have slightly less forward upper mid and treble than other grades.
That was enough for me to conclude that while it's going to be perfect for most Grado lovers and non Grado people, I prefer the treble of the RS1i.
Price is absolutely firm.
