Selling my balanced to unbalanced cable. This is great for DACs that sound better from their balanced output. Requires 100 hours of burn in time. Currently only has about an hour. Mid range is the most noticeable feature as it's very clear and distinct with these cables. I'm selling it because I no longer need it as I have a DAC that sounds good from both outputs.
16 cores of pure silver per channel in oversized ptfe tubing are hand woven into a noise cancelling 16 way litz configuration. All Neutrik silver plated contacts. Air dielectric. Copper Shield with KLE Silver Harmony RCA Connectors.
This cable will not damage your DAC! It's wired in an optimal way so that it's safe for your DAC. Have used it with both my Pavane and Morpheus - both two TOTL DACs that I would not trust any other type of converter cable on.
The wiring is as follows: Cold wire is connected to XLR Pin 1 and RCA ground pin. Hot wire is connected to pin 2 and RCA center. Screen (ground wire) is connected to XLR Pin 1 so XLR pin 3 is floating. The shield wire is usually connected to one end in case the grounding is different between the two ends of the equipment.
