Yes. Pixel 6 series had this problem, though a recent (May or June?) firmware update fixed the issue. I've got a 6 and 6 Pro (moved from one to the other), so I know it's working with UAPP on the Pro, at the very least. Using the Khadas Tea wired with the Pro, so I can confirm that.

But it is something to be aware of as you're looking to buy.

I'm back from vacation. If you're interested, I do have a US unlocked Pixel 6 256GB in Stormy Black. Just used the Pixel 6 Pro with UAPP outputting to a JDS Atom DAC+ yesterday (so it works with more than just the Tea). Elevating from that, I'm thinking the Pixel 6 would work as well. Send a PM if you want to continue, else I'll assume you're happy with what you've got. FWIW, AirPods Pro are really good in my opinion, too, though I haven't used them with a Pixel.
