Will include Black Dragon cable ($350 value to sweeten the deal, which bring this headphones to another level with adequately satisfied amplification)
These are Focal Radiance housing with Stellia drivers, they were modded by a fellow headfier I purchased here on Head-Fi.
He bought the Radianc Brand New, modded it and then sold to me shortly after. I did not spend more than 1 hour on these since I acquired my loudspeakers and ZMF headphones right after. Been storing these in an air-conditioned, non-smoking environment. Basically you are getting a Brand New (or lose to new to be conservative) Stelliance)
Also basically you are getting a closed-back Utopia if you know what I mean, with these Beryllium drivers installed.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THESE FORM ME?
they are Focal for BENTLEY !!!
*****The last picture I posted the Graph measured by Andrew from the Headphone Show.*****
I will link the original posting for more detailed information on them or message me for more info. They come with original packaging and cables mentioned in ad and pics.
-----Addtional information on these headphones: (from another listing: https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/focal-“stelliance”-one-of-kind-flagship-closed-back.17762/)
Alright listen up, this a weird one, and whoever feels bold in trying something a bit out of left field is possibly making one of their best purchases in audio - if chasing the best closed back headphones that is.
(the headphone stand is available for only $100 extra, if you would like)
What is it?
This is a Stellia on supplements, essentially. A Stellia driver has been transplanted into the superior Radiance housing (this one offering the acoustically improved chamber with bass port) allowing for better energy dissipation within the housing.
How does that change the sound?
This sounds very much like a Stellia, with much less stuffiness. Stelliance has better stage space, perception of “slam” and dynamic contrast thanks to the less muffled sound, and a generally “faster” sound.
I have FR measurements of this headphone stacked against Stellia, as well as Harman Target, and it finds itself right between those graphs. It is very much Harman tuned + bass boost.
Just for fun - my closed back rankings
1. Stelliance
2. D9200
3. TH900 Sapphire/ Pearl
4. Stellia
5. TH900 Red/ LCD-XC 2021
7. DCA Stealth
8. Radiance
This is a one-off, and of course due to the nature of this, please ask all the questions that you may have.
Thanks!
