The absolute best of the Fostex style (TH/TR X00) loaded with extras. These headphones have been described by Crinacle as "Excellent dynamics with one of the best bass I've heard in a headphone." This is the detachable cable version.
These come with beautiful custom hand made deep teak cups installed. As shown in the pictures the cups are in pristine condition and not only do they look magnificent, they add extra soundstage depth and an even more realistic tone. I would say they are a slightly lighter color overall than the pictures show. The cups were originally $250.
The headphones also come with the original Emu-Teak cups, screws to install them if you wish, a comfort headband (I do not know the brand), the original cable, a hard shell travel case, and a Periapt cables 10 ft balanced headphone cable.
Please review the pictures. The original cups have a micro crack that is near/impossible to see. It is about 6mm in length and takes a few minutes of close searching in the right light to locate. I have also added to the pictures two small scuffs on the frame.
Paypal is included, shipping depends on location. Please PM for questions or if you'd like additional photos. For trades I would consider certain estat headphones or amps with money going either way as necessary (i've decided to try the estat thing!).
