I thought that I'd prefer the "more present mids" compared to the original LX but it turns out I like the original LX just the way it is. If you're looking for more mids than the original LX, and a calmer, more controlled sound signature overall then you'll likely love the SE.

I just wish I could put the original LX in the LX SE shell because the SE shell is just gorgeous. My pics, and even Bloom Audio's amazing pics, absolutely do not do it justice.
