These are the new model which has a much smoother tweeter. Includes 2- Speakers, Grills, and the original box.
One Pair of Open Box speakers in Excellent Condition
Bought for a second TV setup that is not going to happen. These sound better in testing than Sony SSCS-5, PSB Alpha B1, and Klipsch R-51M on my desk. They are not perfect, but are very good at their price. They do need a bit of power and are not meant for high volume listening. But on the desk or in a simple 2.0 TV setup they sound much bigger than you might expect.
The 4 inch long throw woofer is punchy, the revised tweeter and crossover are wayyyy better than the earlier model. There is still a bit of crispness somewhere around 4k, but if you are not sitting on top of them or use them at your desk with a little EQ, they are very nice. DO choose to put them on some foam to reduce the cabinet resonance, cuz the cabinet is where you get less when compared to a $300 pair of speakers.
