This is a pair of custom-made semi-short adapter cables with female 4-pin mini XLR headphone connectors and female RCA connectors that enable you to use RCA cables as a headphone cable.
They are compatible with Audeze, ZMF, Kennerton, the HEDDphone, Meze Empyrean and various others.
Price includes PayPal fees and insured USPS Priority Mail shipping to the continental US.
I had the idea to have these made when I got deeper into cable upgrades. I noticed that high-end RCA cables seemed to generally have better design than high-end headphone cables, so I figured I'd focus on them. RCA cables are quite versatile too. In addition to their typical use as interconnects between electronics, under the right conditions they can be used as cables for headphones and speakers, and even as digital cables.
If you own (or intend on owning) high-end RCA cables, I think it's worth trying them as headphone cables. Once you spend enough, they should outperform any conventional headphone cable.
The downside is that RCA cables tend to be stiff and uncomfortable when used as headphone cables. Some can be rather heavy as well.
These adapters make things a little easier because they are not as short as, well, short adapters. Their flexibility gives you ergonomic options and positioning more akin to a typical headphone cable.
If you add right angle RCA adapters, there are even more possibilities. Cheaper ones can fall out, however. I recommend these because they have a secure connection:

You can also attach additional adapter cables of your choosing so the RCA cables' connectors can rest on a surface.
As for connecting a pair of RCA cables to an amplifier's headphone output, all you need is an adapter like this one:

(Or if you have a Chord DAC, you can just connect to its RCA outputs without an adapter.)
